I hope this link works. Tell me what you think of this. This guy is full of Shhhtuff. 4K dollar "rare" factory body kit for the side strakes front spoiler and rear spoiler? Don't think so...and only 3,600 made? Isn't that wrong as well? Let me know if it is...i'm just posting this as a "beware" to anyone that has seen it and thought about bidding. Guy sounds like he really has no clue about this car.

 

The guy is definitely full of shhhhtuff. The price is decent, but nothing to call home about. I don't think I'd rush to buy the car at that price and then pay to ship it to texas. I recently purchased a used s2k in ft. worth for a much better price. Just my thoughts.

 

It's hard to say, but the car does look well cared for at least from the pics. 3600 made=wrong. 4k for the body kit...well potentially correct at the time of purchace because of price gouging at the time. My dealer wanted 860 bucks for the rear deck spoiler in march 01 (needless to say I told him where he could put it). The 255hp from iridium plugs. I doubt it.

 

Feeback of 4, mostly from some very low dollar crap. I'd want to see the car and the title on this one...

the guy sells his first items on eBay on just the 24th of last month-- they're all cheap-o articles of clothing-- and then "Oh yeah, I've got this here lil S2000 for sale too..." I smell a scammer. Like most auto sales on eBay, a deposit ($1000) must be made within 24-hrs, but I wouldn't deposit $1000 in the same bank as this guy, let alone his account.

3600 made in 2000...BS. 12,000 were sent to the US alone in a 16-month period before the MY2001s came out.

Only 200 came from the factory with full bodykit? Who gives a flip?! I'm sure several thousand more have put on the full kit after they bought the car, but it's not anything special.

$4k for the bodykit? In a pig's eye! Try less than $2k, moron. Price gouging at the tie of sale means NOTHING when it comes time to sell...only the current market determines resale value. A 3 year old car with 30k miles is NOT worth $26-28k as he claims.

255 hp from a filter change and new spark plugs? Nice try, but I doubt it...assuming the typical 240 hp, he MIGHT have 243 hp now...dyno proven many times over.

 

He needs to seriously rethink the way he's trying to sell that car...it borderlines fraud

 

I noticed that ad this week too. I remembered it from awhile back 6 months or more the same ad was placed. I recognized it right away from the dunkin donuts truck in the pic. for one thing and all the 'stuff' that was put in the ad.
