s2k safe or unsafe
Best friend rolled his down an on-ramp embankment (slid off the road and down a small hill to the bottom where the car tipped over onto the roof). Just about every body panel was damaged thus the car was totaled, but the windsheild frame and roof (top was up) didn't even cave.
His only injurys aside from some scrapes, came from unbuckling his seatbelt while upside down and hitting his head/shoulder on the center console.
Holds up pretty damn well I'd say.

The windshield frame is a lot stronger on the S than most other cars so its very unlikely it will collapse in an accident. There is also a steel roll hoop behind each passenger. I'd feel much safter crashing in my S than practially any SUV out there or a lot of sedans. It was designed like a racecar....to keep the cockpit intact and driver safe in a crash while the rest of the body absorbs the impact.
110%
The roll hoops are usually enough to get onto most tracks. Also doesn't JD-Power or someone rate safety on the S. Start googling, from what I remember, it rated high for safety in its class. Luckily hondas are generally reliable and safe
