Is it safe to steam clean the soft top?
Im assuming it is. I also noticed the bottom of the top was pretty dirty and wanted to know if it was safe to hit it with the steam cleaner there as well before i do.

You’ve had no success with a traditional cleaner like RaggTopp with a horse hair brush?

What's on the soft top? Old bird poop residue? That's what was usually on mine, and I never steamed it. I would usually just use decently hot water with soap when washing my car and with a little elbow grease the stains would come out. I'm interested to hear if you do this though and if it works.

I think the OP is asking about the underside of the top? Is that correct?
I have the same question. The underside of the top is difficult to clean with traditional cleaner and a brush because it is difficult to rinse it thoroughly.
