Wow, the dealer is asking $40,000 for even the MY2001. I'd definitely pass on that deal.

i just called into Kolbe honda right now(that's the right one right?) well anyways they said they did have a silver, red, silver, and yellow. but not blue? well anyways, i talked with the internet sales manager and he wanted me to stop by. i dont know, i just really wanted to see that blue. what day did you go in xfactor? could they have already sold the car?

It's reassuring to know that the blue interior DOES look good. My Suzuka Blue will be arriving at the end of January. I found a dealer that is selling to me for MSRP! I can't wait!

 

I just got back from the local dealership and they had the Sebring silver right next to the Silverstone and I was surprised and happy to see that they're not THAT different looking. I still prefer the Silverstone but at least Sebring is not a deal breaker for me. The Sebring Silver I saw also had S02s and the same wheels as the 2001 models. I'm going to try to snap some pictures of both silvers tomorrow and I will post links to them asap. Hopefully, it'll be sunny when I get there. Anyone have any requests for items they'd like pics of? They didn't have the Suzuka Blue at my dealer so don't ask.

Actually, just a side by side pic from the front (the hoods) will do it for me... Maybe a rear emblem pic as well so we can see the difference...

IVAN, I went in on Tuesday afternoon (10-16-01) around 3pm. They had 3 S2000s...

The Spa Yellow ('01) and Silverstone/Black ('01) were in the showroom, and the Suzuka/Blue ('02) was outside because it was just received...it had all that paper and plastic over it.

They didn't have a Formula Red when I went in. Also, the Suzuka may have been on pre-order, so if you call over the phone, they'll tell you they don't have one in...but if you actually show up, they'll show it to you (unless it's already gone, which I doubt).

 

FYI, the floor mat hook is on the inside!

$40,000?? You gotta be kidding me. What the heck is up with these so. cal dealers that jack up the price by %25+. Kolbe Honda on Reseda Blvd is by far one of the worst Honda dealerships one can go to. Take it from me been there before. Their service department is run by idiots and their sales team has no clue.
