Default Are the seats leather or vinyl?

I've never really liked the look of the red interior, so I want to dye my red seats to black. I already have black carpet and black door panels. Are the seats vinyl or leather? Has anyone ever used a leather dye before? When I was at o'reilly's auto parts the other day I saw on the shelf where they sold leather dye, so I want to pick up a bottle and try in an inconspicuous area on the seat to see if it dyes it black or comes out looking not so great.

So anyway, are the seats leather or vinyl?

Did it come with the red or did you request it?

According to the owners manual of the S2000, they are leather seats.... That's as much as I know....

I bet you could trade your red seats for black ones without much problems.

definetely real leather on the seats and the steering wheel.. the door panels seem to be real leather inserts too but i'm not sure.. the shift boot is definetely vinyl.

Definitely just swap them with someone. You could probably come out ahead if you want to try to involve money; otherwise you'll probably find someone interested in a straight up swap. The red seats seem to be in higher demand (or perhaps simply lower supply) than the black seats.

You might want to consider this as an option. https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=232419 The pricing seams good and you get to replace that worn red leather at the same time.
