Shift-Beep instead of Shift-Light?
I was just watching some videos on YouTube and I came across this one and it seems like everytime he gets into RedLine... there's a beep that gradually increases as he runs closer to RedLine. Is this the case?...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tG2dEB7c0Eo...related&search= If so, where can you get something like this? This is ideal for street use so that the eyes don't come off the road. Andre |
Modifry Redline shift beeper. Pick one up from the s2ki Marketplace. It's the link 'Market' on the top bar.
|
I believe that's modifry's shift beeper. Gofastlabs sells them.
|
Our very own website store sells it. The product is called Modifry's Redline Shift Warning Beeper.

Thanks guys...
Looks like a pain to install though... has anyone done it? Andre |

That shifter beeper works
Thing is.. (IMO).. with a shift light you still have to look somewhere. A beeper is a sound and your ears work (somewhat ;) ) independant of your eyes. I've put my beeper here: where the white dots are, behind the panel http://home.tiscali.nl/onlinestorage...erBeeper-1.JPG All that took was a longer wire for the beeper itself. :hello: |
i love my shift beeper. I have mine on the passanger side and it's loud enough for me. Install is pretty easy, about 45mins to an hour. Just be careful removing the plastic cover thing under the dash. It's very easy to crack, but if you do, call hardtopguy as I think it's around $15 to replace

Modify has very good instructions and his kit makes tapping into the wireing very easy.
