Default Shipping Hardtop

Hello,
I would like to have a hardtop shipped to me, but it's not working out. Has anyone had one shipped, or shipped one out? How much was it for how far you sent it? Did that include a crate? Who did you use? Did it work okay??? Please share. TIA.

Where is the hardtop located? I have a crate sitting in my garage that I am willing to give away if it is picked up.

It's in Texas. Dallas/Ft. Worth, I think. I'm in Seattle. The lady shipping it (on this forum) was quoted $700 from UPS. That seems outrageous. Has anybody used www.freightquote.com???

dude...dont use UPS. When i was trying to get my Mugen top shipped i did some research about craters in her area (since you need it crated up) and called a lot of them. I think it was $450 including the crate to ship the Mugen top from Jersey to Vegas. Hope that helps!

FRP. Im willing to sell it. For $5k. I lucked out and a guy in Jersey with the same color car was selling his car. Paid $2300 + shipping ($450) and it was already painted silver. I painted the sides black though!

$700??? go get it yourself in a pick-up truck. Otherwise use an LTL freight carrier... Roadway, CCX or something like that.
