Should I? Trade for J's front bumper.
Well guys, im faced with a decision to make. One of the locals here has the j's racing front bumper (the full urethane bumper) painted in NFR (the color of my car) who wants to trade for a stock bumper. He is selling the car, and he thinks it will sell better with the stock on there. He wants to do a straight up trade, no money, mine for his. His bumper is in the same condition mine is, has daily driving marks, thats about it. What does everything think? I have a fairly stock S. Its lowered about 1.5" all around, and it has stock wheels for now. How will this look with no sideskirts or rear bumper? Any pics of this bumper with no skirts would be appreciated. Thanks for your input.
Well, what I would do is THOROUGHLY check the condition of his bumper versus the condition of my bumper. If you are giving him a perfectly good stock bumper for a cracked and bondoed (sp?) with a crappy paint job, say no. However, if you know for sure that the bumper is authentic J's Racing and it is in great condition, hell you if you like it then jump on the deal. Just remember that he is getting rid of the bumper for a stock bumper so he can sell the car which means that his is gone. When you want to sell your car you will no longer have a stock bumper to put back on which might hurt potential sales and you'll now have to go around hunting for a stock bumper. My dos centavos.
Dude....JUMP ON THAT!...I am rocking an ings+1 front with no side skirts or rear yet...(Had a lil incident and decided to take advantage of the situation)...I will get the sides and rear in due time...I dont regret the decision at all...it still looks great
