Default So apparently I drive like a Grandpa

Everybody talks about how tail happy the s2000 is, but I've never had a problem. I've never broken the rear out accidentally at all.

What is wrong with me?

Nothing, I have good tread on my tires and I drive sanely. I haven't had problems even in the rain.

I don't know if it is just me but I prepare for ovesteer every corner because if it does brake loose you need to be on your game and not just driving along.

You have an AP2, most people who complain are younger, inexperienced, and drive AP1's.

Both have 2005's too, which I believe have the least tendency for oversteer out of all years. I have a big front swaybar on mine also. It's very stable at the limit.

AP2 [04-07]: 266 (4.75 kg/mm) 275 (4.91 kg/mm) ( 7% stiffer Fr, 10% lower Rr, compared to prev)
AP2 [08 --]: 284 (5.07 kg/mm) 299 (5.33 kg/mm) ( 7% stiffer Fr, 9% Stiffer Rr, compared to prev)

You must be a careful and responsible driver.

Next time it rains, go into an empty parking lot. Turn off VSA (if you have one). And the hit the gas. The rear WILL break loose and dance around you...

On dry pavement, if you try to take a sharp corner above 45mph, the rear and is very likely to break loose. Who in the right mind would do this? I don't know. But it happened to me once (don't ask) and VSA put me back in line.

Me too. It's all experience and knowing what your limits are and what the car's limits are.
