Some sidemarkers are incorrectly advertised as JDM and are not genuine Honda equipment.
If they are just going to get stolen again who cares
You can afford to have 3 HANDA clear sidemarkers stolen for every 1 set of HTG or RICKS. No brainer if you ask me, unless your car is a garage queen and never left alone outside in rough areas. In which case OEM is the only way to go.

But one would think a Honda/Acura dealership is selling OEM parts, no?

Didn't somebody go to their local Honda dealer and find that the clear markers available there were only something crazy like $12?

I recall that...

That makes sense for one. Handa claims its retailed at 12 and they sell it at 9, but it's one side.

Would make sense both costing 24, and would make sense then that handa isn't selling knock-offs.

Suppose you get better bulbs with ricks or something, but is it worth it?

On a side note, do I just need the connector replaced or is there a whole cable I will need to purchase?

You might be best off to go track down a smashed up one in a junkyard an snip off the connectors as well. Seems that when people steal them they always steal the connectors.

I'd call your local dealer and see if they have the side markers there. It's one case where I believe you don't need to go online and wait for shipping.

No one is reading here (well, except for MikeyCB). He can't just buy side markers because they stole at least one of the sockets (maybe both?). Here is the theft repair kit:

Guess this happens often enough that it has its own recovery kit.

60 bux is a little steep, especially considering I only need the connector on one side.

I'm thinking I would need:

"New connectors to attach to the bare wires and then plug into the socket."

The socket for the bulbs should come with the markers no?

Thanks a lot for all the help! Trying not to get bent out of shape over some tricks.

PFFT

$30 at HTG
$25 at RICKS
$9 at HANDA-ACCESSORIES.COM

I never understood why anyone would buy from HTG or Ricks when you can get them for $9 lol....
there can't be any difference can there?
HANDA-ACCESSORIES.COM sticks it to you on shipping these little things ...

Sockets do not come with side markers. It's just the diffuser lens assembly. Sometimes they come packaged with bulbs but often not.
