Default So who's car did I buy? 2005 Red S2000

Purchased this last year in the auction. Hopefully someone here knows the car I have some questions for the previous owner. It was wrapped before. Thanks in advance.

What's the VIN? Have you looked at CarFax?

No I have not looked at carfax but I don't think it shows owners info.

If you're doing a restoration, I have both airbags that I'll never use again.

Did you try searching the "S2000 Registry"? It's a long-shot, but if the previous owner(s) entered their info you can find it and PM them. This assumes that they still follow the forum.

Although the car looks to have been heavily abused prior to the crash a little touch-up paint and this car is ready to roll!

Last 4 of the VIN and model year sill find it in the Registry but only a relative handful of cars are in it. Only 1800 or so cars on that sheet.

That would be a big restoration job - top down (no pun intended). I'd part it.
