Soft top down for about 6 months...
Winter is coming, to all the owners with your hard top up. Would it be bad for your soft top to stall it down for some 6 + months under the day time heat? Should I do anything before I put it down and put the hard one up?
Thanks, Tim |

Thanks, Tim so my guess is it shouldnt be a problem as long as you have detailed it properly |
wanabe, any wear holes in your top?

Only thing I've found is that when I leave it down for a prolonged period of time. It doesn't line up properly when I use it. So you have to force it on the first time and let it sit a couple of days. I think the fabric tightens and needs to stretch.

i dont have a hard top, but my soft top has been down most of the 4 years of its life... it lives under the boot and gets looked at only when i detail the car. still looks new.

Wanabe,
What detail you'd do to your soft top that you were talking about? Please advise. Thanks, Tim |
