Default Soft Top Latch Repair Kit

Does anyone know if someone makes these anymore?

This guy used to make them but i recently talked to him and he said he no longer does.
Hard - Soft Top Latch Rebuild Kit for Honda S2000 – CNC Machined Metal Replacement 2002+ - Etsy

If you know anyone who is selling this part to repair the latches please let me know. Thanks

Are they just getting loose? An interim fix until you find some is placing clear rubber tubing over the hooks. That will make it pull tight again. Mine have been that way for a long time since I am not sure if anyone makes those kits you linked anymore. That obviously wont fix any other issues with the latch but if it is just not pulling the top down tight (air leak) then it works pretty well for that and is super cheap.

No, it's not that. This repair kit fixes a part that brakes off and so you need a machined (or maybe 3d printed) part and new pins to fix them. When this part brakes the latch will still function and close but it will not lock in the closed position. I have 4 bad latches here i'd like to fix and keep for spares instead of just toss out.

oh ok I know what issue you are talking about. No help from me there! Now if someone wants to model the part... I do have access to people with the CNC equipment needed to produce the machined part.

I can only suggest perhaps checking with junk yards. I am surprised that Honda wouldn’t still have this part (ie the whole mechanism).

A Solutions Auto Parts is my goto for used parts for the s2k. So for used I would try them first.

You can still buy the latches new or used. This kit to fix both left and right latches was under $100, so it was a nice option
