spacers
i have them..(the j's) pretty easy to install! All you have to do is take all the bolts of (where they are contected ....axle to diff) take a marker and mark the axle and diff (mouting plate) to make sure you put together in the same holes! Take of bolt by control arm (lower bolt) so you can move axle...slide spacer in and put everything back together!!! (dont take axle out)
J's 10mm
Motorclase 7.?mm
good luck

Are these really necessary?
I feel dumb paying ~$200 on some little alluminum spacers, so would only want them if every lowered AP1 absolutely had to have them.
How many people with drops on AP1s aren't running them?

You might want to talk to Jaydem about wether you need them...if your "S" is dropped.....!!! You will....!!
I'm just questioning whether or not they're really needed, because no one really started using these things widespread until recently, but people have been lowring S2000's for six years...
I'd definately get them for reassurance if they were like $20 to $50 at the most, but $150 to $200 is rediculous for a spacer and some bolts that probably cost around a dollar to make.

The difference I believe between the J's and Motorklass is of course the size...and the size means that the J's can only be used for cars that are alerady lowered, whil the Motorklasse claims to be able to use for cars with stock height, and lowered cars.
I have researched this pretty well. If you have a "Ap1" that HAS been lowered you want to purchase axle spacer to compensate for (axle stretch) due to the car being lowered. I 'd say if you are lowered minimally 1/2 in to 1in get the Motorclasse..anything over Id go for the thicker J's spacer! Now, I have read that for the "Ap2" HONDA has fixed this problem redesigned axles!
I unfortunetly purchased and installed these alittle too late. I have 30K miles, (lowered considerably) and have to replace my inner cv joint Left and right side. (My inner cv joints are worn inside due to "stretched" axles from lowering)
Yes, I paid around 200$US for (2) spacers..but you also get all the extended bolts with that
But if you consider this....honda sells replacement inner cy joints for appx. $240.oo per side (480.00)both...
Now ask yourself it 200 is alot!!
Hope this helps!
