Bad S2k:
The calipers wont fit with the 8.5'' front HREs, nor will the calipers wont fit any rim near 8.5'' wide up front. They require a rim with a very low offset (the exact opposite of our HRE application).
With our combination of Porterfield R4S pads and Motul fluid, I have experienced incredible stopping power with the HRE combination, so you are really not missing out on much (as you'll soon see). Keep in mind that traction plays a huge part in stopping distances and I can guarantee you that you wont see any S2000s with tires wider than your/our application.
Actually, I'd love to see a braking test with R4S pads, our HRE 245/285 application and stock calipers and rotors compared to a full spoon equipped car. I doubt I'll ever see it happen, but I think it would be a very interesting test.
Also another note: Arent the calipers supposed to increase brake feel and consistency, rather than clamping power? I mean, what good is clamping power when you can already lock up the wheels with the abs off?

It's coz racing car's get maintenanced all the time, and calipers can be replaced .
