Your exhaust trying to break-in? Well, don't think it's anything to worry about ... Typical water vapor build up to form droplets is quite common for any exhaust system.

The oil may be from the manufacturing process of the exhaust - maybe mixing with condensation from the exhaust gases (if it's coming from your engine), your car would not be in good shape

Are you sure it's oil ... And what sorta oil if it's really oil? I think it's grease or something from the manufacturing ... New exhaust systems occasionally discharge usual stuff, nothing really to worry about. Fact is, what can be done anyway? I don't think you can do anything to rectify that ... Just leave it, let it run for awhile and see how things go.

It would be black because this engine is fuel injected. With the cold weather, it runs richer, longer. Therefore sooty exhaust. Sounds normal to me.

The oil part doesn't sound normal, however.

i don't think... it's oil? i really dunno. it's really really thin, so i doubt that it's oil.
but, i'm not sure yet, so i'll check it out again tomorrow.
thank you everyone!

Seung,

It's more likely just water mixed with the normal sooty residue from the fuel injection. With the cold weather, you get much more moisture/condensation in the exhaust than you would when it's warmer.

Good luck,
Bob

Exacto Bob, my explanation isn't that defined ... But anyway Seung, I don't think you have anything to worry about. Next time when you see that liquid again, use your fingers and touch it then rub it between your fingers ... It's either this composite we're talking about or probably just some light grease definitely not engine oil or petroleum in my opinion.
