Spring Spacers

I recently read a post on something about how the dealer dindt remove spring spacers and ppl didn't notice it until like 6 months later! well newayz, i looked at my springs, not all of it cuz i dindt wanna jack up the car, but i just looked at all 4 tires, and i dont see any spacers on the springs.. but i read how there were like 7 of em, and from what i could see, i could only see the springs coil about 3 times.. so is it possible that there's still spring spacers left over in spots i can't see? How do i check? And how do i take em out if tehre are any? I've been noticing quite a hard ride, and my cdplayer always skips when i go over tiny bumps!

your taking about your safety and your being lazy about it. it takes only a couple of minutes to jack the car up and take the rims out to check them out man. i would gladly waste an hour or more to even just check it out... just my .02 cents

Take it back to the dealer and have them check it out. They said oops and took them out right on the service drive while I waited.

Changed the ride significantly. Had 'em in for almost 600 miles before I determined they were still in there. One driver I know had his in for close to 5000 miles. If there are hunks of black rubber anywhere on your coils, then them nasty spring spacers are still there.

what's the point of spring spacers and why do they come on the S2000?

I believe they give the car more ground clearance so it's easier to transport without damage.

DOH, and they are SUPPOSED to remove them? I am guessing that it will NOT impair driving? Also if they have not been removed and the dealer does or is supposed to remove them we should have them check alignment again to?
