How do I fix it?? I can't quite tell where it's squeeking from which is half the problem. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

i don't think that it should be squeaking isn't the entire thing made out of plastic? you sure it's the lid?

Squeeking/vibrating. I'm quite sure its the lid because when I hear it, if I hold the lid down it stops.

try to tighten the screws first the if that doesn't work, how about trying to make some sort of little rubber bumpers..

I think the bumpers is what it needs. I think the lid is rattling against the solid portion of the plastic in between the seats. I think some little rubber feet or bumpers would probably stop it. Thanks!

Mine makes noise also. I think it may be because I have an oversize rear aero screen (7/8) which may have put more stress (longer lever arm) on the supporting bracket and the secret compartment lid which supports the bracket. Dunno what to do about it yet. G'luck!

I have had good luck with Silicone Spray for this type of thing..........Easy to do, doesn't cost much (Wal Mart carries it) and if it doesn't work, you don't have a lot of time and money invested.
