Steering Wheel "Shimmies" after lowering...

After putting Eibachs in my car, the sterring wheel beginngs to shimmy side to side from about 30 mph on... Usually this is an obvious wheel balance problem, but I thought it was odd that it started after lowering it. I had my front wheels re-balanced and they were out about 1.5 ounces. After balancing the wheels, the shimmying doesn't seem to be as bad, and also doesn't start until about 40 mph. However, it is still there.

Also, the car seems to pull to the right a lot, even after my alignment. And the steering wheel seems to be tilted slightly to the right too. I'm thinking I should take it back to the alignment guys, even tho they said they got everything within specs. However, I don't think this would fix the steering wheel shimmy, would you?

Should I check the balance of rear tires as well? Would air pressure matter? Currently have 32psi in all four. Tires are Yoko ES-100. Has anyone else had this problem or have any good suggestions on what might be happening? The car is fine under 40 mph, but after that, and especially at higher speeds.. 70+ the car just feels real "wighy-washy" and unstable...

Thanks in advance.

I am running the same tires and have had no problems. I also am lowered and do not experience the "wishy, washy" feeling you get ( as a matter of fact, I have brought the S up to some nice triple digit #'s and the car has felt very stable :) ).

Here is a suggestion. When I got my alignment, they gave me a print out of all the alignment settings pre and post lowering. The numbers were very close pre and post. Request a copy of this so you can see the #'s per wheel for yourself.

Goo luck.

I called them and this is what they told me my sepcs were after alignment. But I'm not sure if its really true or not... the shop just seemed a little shady.
