My 05 with a little over 100,000 miles is mostly stock. I changed the shift knob to a titanium Honda knob and the radio to a modern Alpine with Bluetooth and hands free phone. Oh, and an alarm. My car is stock otherwise.

I put in LEDs in the interior lights for both my ‘03 GPW and my ‘01 NFR. The ‘01 NFR also has a new head unit for hands free feature and speakers because the originals died. No more changes are anticipated. I’m thinking the Honda engineers knew what they were doing.

I would say the vast majority of s2000 are stock. Now I would say quite the opposite for lancer evolutions. No such thing as a stock evo.

In my opinion most s2000s are stock because of 2 reasons. The car handlers great stock so suspension mods are not very important. 2 the engine is a very highly tuned NA engine. Meaning most all mods will not gain you any real power, with the exception of forced induction. Forced induction is expensive and too troublemaker for most people.

With oem turbo cars cars many of them have mods because a tune and exhaust can gain a huge substantial amount of power.

My 2003 14000 miles all stock. e
Except tires dry rot and a new battery. I'm going to try to keep all stock if oem parts are still available . Bought from a 75 year old original owner that my son Andrew found for me!!! He was very patient to find one with low miles bone stock.

All stock except for headrest speakers and the behind the seat organizer. Both are, of course, Honda accessories. I spent years and plenty of coin modifying my 79 Accord back in the day. Dual Webers, cam, Bilsteins, sway bars, rims/tires, stereo, flared fenders, Cibie quad headlights and foglights (turned night into day), steering wheel, accel coil, front dam and the best add on of all an Escort radar detector! Lots of trail and error getting things right, and more dollars than most would consider sane. After all the effort on this car, I decided that it would be a better plan going forward to just buy cars that didn't need to be heavily modified to have great performance--like the S2000 or my NSX. The 79 Accord is still on the road by the way, as it also had multiple applications of rustproofing!

I am also a new owner but my '02 is 100% stock right down to the crappy stereo and I intend to keep it that way.
