Stock AP1 = Stock AP2; 4.57 AP1 = 4.? AP2
If a stock AP1 is as fast as a stock AP2...
then an AP1 with 4.57 gears is as fast as an AP2 with 4.??gears?
I tried searching this, but came up empty.

I'm not going to comment on which is faster in real life as this should be posted by those who actually have raced each other.
Using your own logic:
Because the final drive ratio of the 2 are the same - 4.10.
Then logic would say that 4.57s in both cars would still make both cars the same.

If both AP1 and AP2 have 4.57, wouldn't the AP2 have a lower top end because it has shorter gears from 1-5? Just wanted to clarify.
NOW, you are asking in terms of reality (and still poor wording). Go to this link and plug in the numbers and you will see the answer for yourself:

In reality, a stock AP1 is as "fast" as a stock AP2 because both can achieve about the same top speed. 1 because it is drag limited and 2 because it is gear limited, but in both cases, it so happens to be the same speed (more or less).
Keep in mind that where "2" has the advantage of that secondary gear reduction on the back end of the tranny, it is also hampered by a redline that is reduced by 1000 rpm.
If you are talking about "fast", then "2" with 4.57s has the disadvantage in that its top speed is still gear limited but now that top speed is vastly reduced, while "1" may also have a reduced "geared" top speed but that top speed is still within the limits of its drag. However, if you are talking about "quick", like in acceleration, then this is where reality must take it to the track.
Hopefully, this stuff made some sense to you. If it doesn't, I think this obsession will cause you further pain and suffering.
