I've tripped the anti-theft system on my S2K. I've tried following the instructions on the car but CODE won't come up on the radio after disconnecting and reconnecting the bat. The fuse checks out ok...

Can someone offer any suggestions and or help?

Just to make sure, have you tried pressing any buttons? it should come up then. otherwise I'm spent

What I did was disconnected the bat, reconnected the bat, turned the key to on (didn't start the car), and pushed in the nob and a preset button or two after nothing came up...no luck...maybe my radio is fooked...

 

Check your fuses. The radio should ask for the code after it is turned on.

 

fixed - I missed the 10A Fuse!!

 

Just push power, and CODE should come up, then just enter the # and you should be listning to music. Better off just to use it as an excuse to get an aftermarket HU. Trash the stock piece.
