Default Strut bars for 06 S2000?

I am trying to buy a Cusco/ Mugen, etc strut bar for my 06 S2000, but no avail. Is there anyone selling AP2 strut bars? Can you, guys, give me a few reputable websites where I could buy them? I am sure 04-05 would fit.

Heck, cannot even get K&N filter drop-in filter yet. Even the security harness kit is completely different from the 05. I just installed the OEM alarm this weekend. Only www.collegehillshonda.com lists security harness for an 06.

Thanks!

Strut-bars should be the exact same as all other S2000's regardless of year.

Actually the K&N Filter is not the same. I talked to K&N and they said that they don't have anything yet for 06.

So the strut bars should be the same for AP1 and AP2? No offense, can someone else also confirm this?

Thanks!

06 AP2's air filter is different but for strut bar, anything for the AP1 can be apply.

tifosi360,

I just purchased a MY06 S2000 and the dealership ordered the alarm system for it (just came in). By your post it indicates that the wiring harness is different for MY06 from previous years? Am I correct in this assumption?

I know it has to be different from MY02 since I owned one and installed the security system myself in that one. Had to install the "armed" blinking red LED light right behind the brake handle. Noticed now it looks like it is integrated into the instrument cluster so at least one change. Just checking so I can question the dealership prior to them tearing my car apart only to find they did not order the correct security system (if it is exclusive to MY06).

Thanks,

TGO

The correct security harness part# for an 06 S2000:

08E55-S2A-100A
(This is the wiring harness. This is the one that is different from other years. It comes with no instructions. If you need help installing it let me know. It took me 2-hours to install. Easy!)

08E51-S84-100
(This is the controll unit that goes under the seat. It is the same as last year or some other Hondas, such as the Accord.

Is there a revised "attachment kit" for the '06, or do you have to buy the regular attachment kit and the new harness (throwing away the attachment kit's harness)?

I'm *this* close away from getting an order in for this stuff for my soon-to-be-here '06, so I'm really curious
