stupid rain

sorry to interrupt this mid-atlantic thread conversation but I was also driving in the torrential downpour we had last night. some areas in va got up to 6 inches! holy crap.
i had no leak issues last night (although i took my car through a touchless car wash and had some leakage once) however, my front brakes (part of the calipers, not the rotors) got a little rusted and the rust also got all over my rims too i gonna have to clean the rims again. has this ever happened to anyone after driving through the rain?

Holy friggin crap, you guys make it sound like the S is made out of paper or something. Talk to the owners up in Canada. They regularly plow through SNOW in their S'. Rain is not going to hurt the car. Unless you leave the top down.
I treat my top with 303, and it's looking good after 6 years.
