Finally, is there anybody living near St. louis area with a supercharged s2000 that could show me the diffrence between stock S2000 and SS2000 (sorry for the confusion by ss2000 i ment supercharged s2000). If your doing 1/4 mile drags, you should be thinking about using turbo. I haven't heard of the SS2000 unless you mean the S2000 type S and all I know is it's very rare and we in the US probably can not get one.

Never heard of the S2000 type S. I have heard of the S2000 V Type though, with the VGS, which is Japan only. The SS2000 is a Mugen project car, for more information go here: http://www.kingmotorsports.com/project_ss2000.asp

Run a search on the site for "Comptech AND Vortech."

Damn straight it's rare.

If I recall correctly, that's the one that runs off the Romanian boar mucous RR was talking about. It has a compression rato of 15:1:1 and puts down 50 extra rwhp when you hit the mucous injection switch which is very similar to nitrous. Honda, after many years of refusing to add specialty items to their stock cars, gave in when they decided to manufacture the Type S and I think it's only for sale in Romania and in The Balkans.

I live in the KC area and can give you a ride. Once you go for a ride you will be hooked!

I'm very happy w/ my Vortech, but it did cost a lot more to install that a Comptech would have.

If you're interested in 0-60 and 1/4 mile times, a different car might be a better option, though.

Go with a turbo. My last dyno was 319rwhp but thats not that great what is, is that they put my dyno up to a ss2000 and mine made 75rwhp more @ 5500rpms then ss2000. As soon as my motor is done I should put down about 450rwhp@18lb of boost. If you want to look a the turbo go to www.inlinepro.com

I am sure a turbo is badass, but some people may not to do all that tuning necessary to be a monster. I know the SC systems are reliable and pretty easy to install.
