supercharger vs. veilside ?
I'm getting a car soon and need a help on a decision. Should i get a veilside body kit or a supercharger? It seems like there is a lot of problems with both, but both are great as well. superchargers have some sort of clutch/wont let your car work after a while?/ and veilside is fiberglass not urethane... so it cracks according to s2k fan, which i believe it's true.
thing is i think s2000 is great as it is performance wise, but lacks an attitude in appearance.(i'm an industrial designer, so all I do all day is trying to make things function and look better) However after seeing that video of sc red devil s2000 and stock s2k, i was convince that it is worth buying a sc over a body kit that might crack. help me decide. thanks.

I was thinking the same thing when I first got mine, but I say split the difference... for four grand, you could get some great ground effects/ wheels and some mechanical mods, it wouldn't be veilside or sc but you could get a little of each.
Those mods cost more than the intial purchase; If you get the veilside you will want wheels and a lowering kit.... get the sc and you will want the clutch and pipes...
On a side note...
Hey being an industrial designer (Mechanical engineer?) You could always create your own mods... I have an RP shop, PM me if you've got any ideas.

I just saw the group buy for comptech SC and it's so tempting. I think if the comptech could
fix the bracket problems and other engine p's then I think it's worth another 2k on the SC.
I am an industrial designer. I do design, and am so into aftermarket body kit. I have few ideas, but I
don't know where to start. I have some interior and exterior ideas for s2k and they are really nice. I think
maybe even put s2k into audi tt level of design details with aftermarket... I'll put some of my renderings up in about
a week or two. stay tune.
