Tanabe GF210 Springs & Invidia Test Pipe Review
I recently purchased both of these items and I had an opportunity to install them at my buddy's shop (thanks shaun).
Tanabe GF210 Springs
Lowers .8" equivlent to about a 1.5-2 finger gap all around.
Construction looks really good.
Price was outstanding, $150-160 shipped.
Impressions:
The ride is just a bit firmer than stock. Improvement in handling and car feels very stable. The stance was just perfect for me. I live in Chi-town and the roads can be pretty crappy. I have an OEM front lip and I wanted a nice drop to just eliminate the wheel gap left from the AP2 wheels that I have. After about a day or so the car is sitting on a 2 finger gap. I'm hoping that it will settle out another 1/4 inch or so. Otherwise the drop is near perfect, thus far. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.
Invidia Testpipe w/O2 Sim
Construction was great, very bling finish. O2 Sim provided by e-autosports works perfectly.
Price: $95 shipped
Impressions:
I still have my stock exhaust. The car's exhaust is a noticably a tad louder with the TP. I do notice a difference with this, throttle response is better, VTEC is much more pronounced, the car seems to pull a bit harder. The engine revs us nicely, no drone. Fitament was perfect, 10 minute installation, with the use of the lift and air tools. I did notice the exhaust smell a bit at stop lights but it is not that bad. Great mod, must have.
