I feel I'm missing out on something. When do you ever get to use these horns?

I don't think I've used mine in the 12 months I've had the car. Nobody ever jumps out in front of me, and I'm always going too fast to be cut off by pickup trucks and Honda Civics.

Do you use them to scare the daylights out of little old ladies who dont move fast enough at signal crossings?

I like my horns by Fiamm. http://www.s2000fans.com/faqs/faq_airhorn.php
If you're interested in these, let me know because I have modified the installation.

You should see what the traffic does when I honk my horn at work! It's like parting the Red Sea. Yuk Yuk Yuk

It just happened again. What the ***K! I made a left turn into work in the right turn lane. Slowed down to see if the truck was going to cut me off. Sure enough, he did. The factory horn sucks. He didn't even turn his head. I'm ordering my new horn right now.

It seems like it used to be that when someone was pulling a bonehead move that threatened metal-to-metal contact and you honked at them to warn them, they would stop what they were doing and get back in their lane. After all, there are blind spots and some people just don't check them carefully enough.

Now, it seems that people don't even bother to look and then they just get ****ed because you pointed out what a bonehead they are, and it's up to you to avoid the collision, as if it's your fault! And then they have the gall to salute you!

My rules are always, always look and always, always use my turn indicator.

I'd love to see some public safety spots that remind people to use their indicators.
