you haven't been on the 405 obviously...going 60 in 5th, then it coming to a copmplete stop, downshifting to 3rd and around 23mph, try accelerating and hesitation.

After reading LABrit's previous post about his hesitation between 1900-2100 rpm I tried to find it with my '06. I literally tested it from 1000 rpm and up and still couldn't find any lag that he's reporting. I'm not trying to discredit you LABrit, I just wanted to see for myself because I looked hard for a lag when I test drove it and still haven't found any lag issues with the DBW. It responds instantly at any rpm for me.

I'm going to have to agree with slimjim and guess its just bucking at low rpms.

Probably nothing to do with the throttle response itself. That's all turbo lag.

It is DEF. not bucking.

It is lag pure and simple.

could you elaborate a tad more, im trying to figure out why at any point your trying to accelerate from 19-2100 rpms. only time the car should see that low is first gear, then you should never shift below 5k. just cruisin. later

Driver error and not lag. Lugging the engine in tall gears at low revs equals no acceleration and not much throttle response - absolutely normal in any car unless your car has strong torque such as in a big displacement V6 or V8.

you are right, yet going 32 or so mph in third and stepping on it shouldn't cause hesitation

I drove two MY06s this morning at my local dealership. I'm thinkin' or trading... hmmm. ;) Anyway, I noticed the lag right off the bat. I would imagine you could get used to it. The one seemed to be a little more responsive than the other, but maybe that's all in my head. There is a noticeable difference between those two MY06s and mine. They were quite agressive pricing-wise since I just bought a new Ridgeline from them three weeks ago.
