Default The time is coming...

I bought my car with Eibach pro-kit springs, an AEM cold-air intake and an electronic exhaust diverter. I had a whole list planned out to buy by spring, but I'm buying another dog for $1,200 in May, so that will be setting me back a bit. I just bought Alpine speakers and amp, voodoo shift knob, oem lip, oem rear spoiler and a Comptech ice box. I really would like to acquire the following things by summer 07'...and I'm just wondering what you guys think is the smartest order to get them in. Also, maybe what I should considering buying that I haven't listed. These things are in no particular order.

Comptech cat-back exhaust
Rick's header
MY06 wheels
Comptech or ASM front strut bar
AP2 center console

How much did you pay for MY06 wheels and tires?

No, not an open header. It's a valve that makes the exhaust come from another, smaller pipe right after the catalytic converter. It sounds like a 350Z actually, and it sounds real good on the highway but I want Comptech.

I said I want the 06 wheels, I don't have any of the stuff on that list yet. There are 06 wheels + tires on the FS forum right now, 1200 from socal.

I'd say get the Cusco cf strutbar...it's gorgeous...like the regular polished strutbar with blue mounts, but instead is rapped in carbon and has titanium color mounts...looks amazing and will run you less that half the price of the comptech

For me, a strut bar would come at the very bottom of a long, long list- right after the purchase of more leather scented air fresheners from Yankee Candle.

Don't spend several hundred dollars on a sturt bar.

Get a x-brace, not a strut bar.

Comptech is solely for looks, if you like that brand. The entire unit only makes 1 or 2 hp, so completely worthless in terms of performance. The Rick's header makes a few horses in the midrange, but loses or makes zero up top without tuning.

After the 1500 you'll spend on the two pieces, your car will be no faster than it is stock. You could get some gears for less than that and have a MUCH faster car.

I'd rethink those mods, or go for a 70mm single outlet exhaust and some tuning (I have a VAFC2 for sale for 200 shipped).
