Plain and simple. What is the fastest anyone has gotten there S up to?

with stock gearing and rev limiter, the S2000 won't go faster than 174mph. and it's been done. and there is video. (im too lazy to upload it right now)

 

I've taken it up to 64 MPH.

 

174mph it may be stock gearing but there has to be some engine mods to make it go this fast , MY01 stock everything will go to 142 and then climbs super slow the fastest I have ever had it was 151mph and that took a little while to get there

 

i've had my stock ap1's to 155-162mph indicated. (GPS verified 157mph)

however, top speed that is drag limited will vary dependent upon wind direction and strenth, tire pressure, hill grade, etc.

the 174mph video the guy finished going down a slight hill so he was able to attain that speed.

 

157 gps verified is the fastest ive ever driven in any car...just so happens it was my s2k. 148 was done in my friend's turbo rsx.

haven't taken the S to it's limit yet, but got 167MPH in my C4S

 

The fastest I've had mine was 120mph, and only for a few seconds,
immediately after shifting to 5th gear.
( 117 mph in 4th gear at 8K RPM or there aboubts)

I was running out of straight HWY so I let up.
The car felt very stable and safe, even with the top down.


Also, the cops are thick out here.... always lookin for that ticket quota
