Tow truck damage?

Right. I was just correcting the post that said many have towed with wheels on the ground without damage. But even if that is true this case is different in that driveshaft was disconnected.

There is a way to tow the car with a wrecker. The company has to have car dollies to put under the wheels that would be on the ground. So if they hook up to the front tires the dollies would be on the back tires. This would have prevented any damage but that driver was obviously an idiot.
But most of the time the wheel lift isn't thin enough to fit under the front bumper
To get our cars on a flatbed they would have to have one of two things. Ramps to take some of the angle out or what is call a LCG bed.
LCG beds sit lower than regular ones and the truck is equipped with air bags that can be deflated to lower the bed farther.

How many had their driveshaft disconnected and thus was flopping around whacking the bottom of the car and thrashing around in the safety hoop?
