Did the shifter refurb...new plastic parts and grease.Shifts like butter,very satisfied with this diy.Just waiting for this scorching heat to go away so I can enjoy topless.
Fall and winter are the best seasons to enjoy this beauty!!

 

I too recently performed the same work on the shifter assembly in my car. It certainly wasn't an essential task in my case — chalk it up to the anal, obsessive behavior that sometimes strikes because of this car. Fortunately my biggest concern, that I would end up making a complete mess of my car's interior, was avoided and all turned out well. Autumn is also by far my favorite time of the year to enjoy this car. Of course it doesn't hurt that autumn is my favorite time of the year, period.
