Upgraded camshafts for F22
Seeing as how I won't be able to go FI for about a year or so (all dependent upon when a supercharger/turbo kit is available for the MY06), I am looking for other ways to make significant power gains. Upgraded camshafts is one mod that has proven to make significant power gains (IPS-K2 camshafts for the K20A2 is one example).
Based on the search I have done thus far, it looks like Toda may be the only manufacturer of upgraded camshafts for the S2000, although their website specifically mentions F20C engines and not the F22. According to Crower's website they don't make camshafts for the S2000.
Does anybody have upgraded camshafts in their S2000? If so, can you please provide me with the brand and your thoughts?

Just adding camshafts isn't going to net you much gain. Just because it works on one engine, doesn't mean it will work on another. The F22C and F20C are built up pretty high from the factory. The stock camshafts are already pretty awesome.
I understand the OEM camshafts are really good, but just wanted to know if there are better cams out there.

I think the reason you don't make much power with upgraded cams is that the stock ones are so aggressive. On the high-lift, it's hard to get much more lift/duration without hitting a valve with a piston. With the K-series engines it's easier because they can tune cam angles at any RPM with the ECU (i-Vtec) whereas we can't do that.

You won't gain much,if any power,by swapping in cams only.
And,you cannot tune our ECU.
