Default voodoo knobs.

i'm planning on getting a voodoo knob. for those with this knob, did you guys get the s2000 logo etched or the shift pattern? or just plain? i'm planning on getting the pearl regular since it looks better as far as i can see. thanks in advance, pics are welcome =D

I purchased the titanium knob with the shift pattern. I just liked the more subdued look/color of the titanium knob even though it is pricey. If you do get an etched pattern I found, at least on the titanium knob, there was no need to paint or alter it. The etching comes out as a nice dark gray. However I have no idea what the aluminum one looks like etched. Anyway either way you go, aluminum/titanium, etched or not, it is one of the best upgrades for the least amount of cash.

I agree, if you like a bigger knob or have med-to-large hands, go with the Magnum size, people seem to like it better, but I have the regular and it is fine.

I bought the aluminum no pattern no logo.

I love it and imo the color of the brushed aluminum matches the car.

Next to my Muz Mirror this is by far the best mod I have done to my car.

My stock one seems to work fine... Why does everyone upgrade this item?

Because with one simple change of a shift knob you get a completely different feel!

The Voodoo Magnum or MUZ knob is deeply threaded or "counter sunk" so the shift knob sits much lower on the shift lever - thus the throw is shorter.

My stock knob was used for all of 12 miles!

Spun, my shift boot bezel was peeling so I stripped off the dark grey paint, and now the bezel matches the knob.

No digital camera or I'd take a picture, maybe it's time to buy one.

Spend the $30-$40 to get one and try it out. I had no intention of ever doing this to my car as I really liked the feel of the stock knob. I got a good deal on one from Muz so I figured that for the small amount of money that I spent on it, if I didn't like it, I would sell it or throw it at the neighbors dog. Turns out that it was a killer mod. It shortens the shifter throw by a surprising amount and feels so nice in your hand. You naturally grip it. When I drive, my right hand just naturally rests right on the shift knob. With the stock knob, I had to turn my hand slightly for it to feel comfortable.
