Default VTEC Boosters

Anybody know where I can go to have my vtec changed to a lower rpm (I'm in Sacramento). I don't want to buy the whole system, but will if necessary. How much do you think they would run used. Anyone selling?

VAFC, do a search. With a dyno you can pull like 10 hp.

You'd see a much greater gain from this kind of device if you had forced induction and you could tune boost and VTEC together. Otherwise, as previously stated....it nets you about 10 hp.

FI or trade in for a car that displaces more.

EDIT: And by FI, it has to be the right FI, but I don't consider it cheap. Turbo or roots/screw super. Beyond that it's 5k for a stroker kit but that lowers redline. All other torque gains are modest at best and are expensive per ft/lb.

Or swap your engine for an 04/05....you'll bump your displacement up to a monsterous 2.2 litres! Now THAT's stump pulling power.
