I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.....first ticket ever, that's one reason why it got dropped.

That sucks. I should probably be in jail for doing some spirited driving here and there.

like your so perfect...

everyone has been guilty of speeding. whether you were caught or not.

there are too many variables out there that coulda made this a "safe" speeding.

ie. empty road at like 2 am.
1. 81 in a 45 is not even close to excusable under any circumstances.

2. Just because you are a shitty, good for nothing waste of space doesn't mean everyone else is too.

Oh, wait... I thought of a justifiable excuse for 81 in a 45. Maybe he is a secret government agent chasing down malevolent aliens trying to destroy Earth. No? Oh... no excuse then. Please kill yourself and save society the trouble of dealing with your loser ass for the next 80 years.

It not illegal unless you get caught! Do what you must just know the consequence and be ready to except it if the worst happen. Don't buy a 12mpg vehicle if you are making minimum wage and and complaining about high gas price. Oh you didn't know gas is going to be expensive? Who fault is that? Sure blame it on the government and greedy companies, but don't act like you have nothing to do with it.

Can't you get a quote by a different insurance group?

haha, man, two different issues are being discussed. First, it's total BS that insurance is doing that if it's dropped. end of discussion. to them it should have appeared like it never happened

on the other hand, is 81 in 45 excusable? I'm with those that are scratching their head over how anyone can find this an OK "once in a blue moon" occurence. If you wanna speed out of control, track the car, don't mess with the rules of the road you never know what kind of trouble your stupid driving behavior is going to cause.

81 in a 45 HA! there is a price to play the game and this is it. ive gotten two 95 in a 55's one was for 143 in a 55 but the cop was cool because it was 3 A.M. + 2 wreckless tickets. All of these tickets were on my motorcycle. I had a record before I had a permit. The lady at the DMV said she had never seen that before. No-one on this forum is a saint when it comes to speeding,we all have a love for the same car that will one day get us in trouble.Chock it up to the game,oh well.
