Warranty repair work at an Acura dealer?
Can regular service or warranty work be performed on an S2000 at an Acura dealer? Is this even advisable? There is one near me but no Honda dealers.
Thanks,

I asked the same question a few months ago. Was told that you can take your car anywhere for service; however, for any warranty work, you have to go to Honda. I know "Honda and Acura are the same". Your manual says HONDAHONDA .

As far as Honda is concerned yes, an Acura Dealer can perform work on a Honda product. However, I would suggest you call the Acura dealer and verify they want to do the work first. Not every Acura dealer is going to have someone they want to work on an S2000 and as we all know, dealers are independently owned and operated and they are not obligated to do your work.
For many years I had my CRX-Si serviced at a local Acura dealer because the local Honda dealer was such a joke. I really liked the VIP treatment and have nothing but praise for how they took care of things, and how much better they were than the Honda dealer was. You may pay a bit more, but I suspect you will be getting much more "service" also.
