I washed the outside of the car, open up the hood to clean up a bit and found water in my air filter box, where the hell did it come from ?!?!?!?

Anyone had this problem before, also notice that there is a few more leaks and some water spots under the hood.

my guess is improper alignment of the hood + heavy rain?

I don't know what an FIPK filter looks like but there is a hole in the fender just above where most people's aftermarket intakes sit. Water runs down the gap between the hood and fender and through the hole. No problem with the stock air box as it is sealed except for in the front. Many have posted here that they tape over it. Others also add a sheet metal "umbrella" over the top of the intake.

I have a same setup on mine, but I've never seen the water anywhere near the filter after the wash... I hope your filter didn't get too too wet.
