Default Weatherstrip adhesive for OEM lip kit?

Where can I find more of the weatherstrip adhesive that's used on the OEM lip kit? It's that black lining on the edges of the OEM lip kit.

The black lining on the edge of the lip is just sort of a cushion for the bumper underneath. The purpose I assume is to prevent possible squeaking.
Install your lip without this part and see if you have any problems. It's easy to un-install if necessary.

And.... after thinking about this for a moment this gasket may also prevent mud and grime coming between the bumper and lip.
Apply a small bead of clear silicone adhesive on the underside of the lip before you install it. This should serve the same purpose and work just as well.

sorry I don't have an answer to the OP. I've had both "non" weather stripped and brand new OEM.
besides keeping the dirt out, it IMO really cleans up the look. no gaps etc.

i was looking for a solution before I just sold the lip and bought OEM, already painted.

Yea that's exactly it - the cushion that acts as a sealant. I'm looking for this product for another car where I'm looking to use it for splash guards. I'd use a clear silicone sealant, but I'm afraid that I'll get some sort of paint damage since it comes in contact with the paint.

Anyone else have an idea as to where to get some?

i've been looking for this as well, my lip didn't come w/ the rubber cushion. I've already tried going to the dealership and they jus looked at me like i was an idiot. So maybe i'll try autozone next.
