Oh, I just found out that the M3 guy has the "Stage 2" chip upgrade also. Holy crap.

Wassuupp Unicron,
Before our next run I need to put on my new Fikses & tires. I have like 10% tread left after our outing Fri. Yes, I have the Dinan Cold-Air Intake and Stage 2 software download (optimizes air/fuel ratio, increases rev limit, removes governor). I'm planning on putting on an aftermarket exhaust this week if I can get off work at a reasonable time. I had fun Fri...we need to meet up again very soon. Actually I wouldn't mind riding in your car. Sheeez, I thought my engine was loud until I heard your 9200 redline.

I REALLY get amused when people compare bikes to cars. It is quite easy to state the obvious. I have a plane that will smoke anything on the road AND I can do flips in it and LIVE.

More on 330 CI encounter... The first time, I was in front, he was about 3 car lengths back. I planted the loud pedal at about 5,000 in first, he closed maybe a 1/2 car length and we ran dead even to 90. The second time, he was in front and I was about two car lengths back. I started at 6,000 in first and we were dead even all to way to 90 again.

From a dead stop with a with one of those crazy 8,000 rpm clutch drops, I'll bet the S2k would fare better, but I refuse to do that with my car. Also at higher speeds, I'd guess that I'm punching a smaller hole in the air, about the time his computer shuts him down.

The 330 CI's numbers are very close to an E36 M3. A damn strong little car. He has only got 15 less hp but quite a bit more torque (152 vs what...240?) and weighs almost 500lbs more. I'm sure I could out lap him on a road course. His weight kill him.

Lots of bike people here on this board. Welcome. As for your 'Busa...why do you think Suzuki just came out with the GSX-R 1000?.

Did not know the 330Ci had so much straight-line speed. Impressive.
