Wet Okole seat cover owners I have a ? - do they help with back sweating in high heat
Hello,
I searched and read just about everything I could find but nowhere is this question answered. When it does finally get warm here in WI, it get hot and humid warm. Being that the top is down from the time it comes out of storage until it goes back and I don't use the air cond. driving home from work gets to be a pretty sweaty ordeal. The back of my shirt where I'm sitting on the leather is soaked through by the time I finish my 1/2 hour commute. Do the Wet Okole seat covers help with this? I'm thinking of getting them anyway but this would put me over the top.
Thanks.

Yes! Absolutely! Here in TX its been in upper 90's, low 100's. Before, the seat covers I would not have even considered putting the top down as I would just stick to the leather. With the covers, it is really not an issue. Hot is still hot, but MUCH more tolerable with the top down/AC off with the Wet Okole covers. Check the old links and see if you can still get the group buy price. They are definitely worth the $$.
hope this helps

helps alot. i have mine on and attended the first rallymidwest held in milwaukee. we rode almost the whole day. it was hot! my face was peeling a couple of days later. however, the seat covers helped alot with the heat. my shorts and t-shirts didn't get soaked soaked, but i did sweat a little --- for being in the vehicle for nearly 1 1/2 to 2 hours before break.

I agree with the other guys. They're not quite as breatheable as cloth seats, but much better than stock leather. IMO, they're much nicer looking, too.
The custom fit is excellent, and I expect that they will keep the leather in mint condition. And after sitting in the sun, the surface isn't scorching hot on your skin like leather is.
