That is because we all truly love the car and want to share its capabilities (all those ah-ah moments) as we have discovered them.

Great info, thank you!

Was very helpful in picking up my 07 Rio Yellow with 50k on the odometer. Interestingly my S2K was a trade-in at a Ford dealership. (why someone would trade the S for a Ford bewilders me). I was able to drive the car prior to purchase for a few days. Took the opportunity to take it to my trusted Honda dealership, to a specific tech who works on S2Ks specifically, and owns NSXs. I had them do the full CPO check, as well as more details thanks to this guide.

Looking forward to being a part of this awesome community.

Congratulations! I would love to know the location of the dealership where your honda tech operates.

Hi, I'm currently in the market for a ap2 s2000. I took a look at a 04 BB with 56k the other night and noticed that the rear bumper was not flush to the rear quarter panels at the corner of the tail-lights. The passenger side was off by a CM, while the driver side was off by 1/2 a CM. Should that be a cuase for concern, is this common body defect on all s2k's, or a clear indication that the car was tapped on its rearend? Since it was late, I didn't really have time to check the vin's on the body panels, but I didnt see any apparent overspray in the wheel wells, window trim, or body panel edges. The carfax came up clean, but the car has gone through 4 owners already. I am planning to go again during the day to get a more thorough check of the car, but just wanted some advice on if I'm wasting my time. Thanks in advance.

That's actually a pretty common imperfection on a lot of S2000s.

Okay, so this is my first post so the first thing I would like to say is, what's good! Anyway, I'm looking at this ap1 right now and I have a few questions and would really like and greatly appreciate some help. Its an 01 with 55,xxx miles, bone stock and the dealership is wanting $13,900 for it.. it has a huge rip in the rear "window" of the soft top, other than that its in pretty good condition. My question is would this be a good deal? Offcourse the sticker price is $13,900 so I definitely won't be paying that... I might be able to get it for 13k. If so, would 13 grand be a good deal? Would really appreciate some help! Please and thank you!
