What "number" is my car?
I have noticed a lot of members posting what number their car is in the Model Year. Where can I get this information? Is it the serial number or is there a code?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I thought it was different than the VIN number, no?
What about the production date? Is there a way to tell when that was?
I know my rear bunber was made in April, 02.....woopie.

So NNY S2K, your last four on the vin is 2408? Is there any cause to keep that to ourselves? (I dont know why, just curious)
Thanks for your patience.

I don't know production #'s, but I see 10 S2K's for every Type R I see, and there were roughly 1500 R's brought over for '00 and '01, so I'm guessing there are more than 2000 S2's/year.
