Do research. You can only put a header on a s. Don't expect much power though. Ecu is best bang for the buck but it will cost you. Intakes don't do much for a s either. Get it, drive it, take some driving classes. Buy good tires? So many things that have been posted for years. Except the hard top I'd save my money and look into things that actually work. But since this isn't a good drag car why add power from the start?

First thing I did was put back all the stock parts and spend the money on track days. No sense of putting money on mods without knowing the basic handling of the car. my 0.02 cent

I didn't change anything for a while after I got my S2000. The First thing I did change though was the Intake. I replaced the stock one with a K&N FIPK intake system. To be honest though, the only reason why I changed to the FIPK was because I had a friend who worked for a company that built custom work trucks and he got permission to order himself and some of his friends intake systems from K&N using the business account. So we ended up getting them for really cheep. Had it not been that type of situation with a discount involved, I doubt I would have changed anything for quite awhile longer.
