Id go with 00. a few nice upgrades low miles and a good price... also like stasted earlier they are both AP1. if one was ap2 that would be a big differance. 00 DO IT!!!

02 for sure.
While 65k miles isnt a ton for an S, it is double the 37k on the 02 model.
Depending on your driving habits, that could be up to almost 3 extra years of life of the car (12k/year average)
02 also comes with
- tweeters in the door
- chrome rings on the taillights
- leather center console
- leather wrap on the shift knob (really nice on hot days)
- remapped ECU that doesnt run as rich
- glass rear window
More stuff than that that I know I'm forgetting.

Go with the lower mileage s2k dude, thats what i am doing. I turned down a 2003 with 22k miles for 13500 and am going for a 2000 with 33k miles simply because the 03 is sazuka blue in and out (gross)... having those low miles will make the car worth way more later, i feel like its more of a rarity. When you get that 2002 up to 90k miles its not worth much, when u get the 2000 up to 60k you still have an awesome value and it will be far more rare. Also, if you look at the s2k it is one of the rare cars that stayed pretty much the same from 2000-2008. ya ya gladd windows and small changes, even the 200cc boost in 04, its relatively the same car! And its a rare thing that the first MY had no major issues in production. Thats my two cents

I hate how everyone always mentions, "you can get an AP2 for that price". Maybe he wants an AP1? Some people might like the AP1's styling more, like me. I also personally like the carpet center console more for some reason. He's also mentioned a thousand times that the 00 came with a glass top.

Suzuka is the fastest color though. Personally, I love the blue interior; it is quite unique. That's another unique thing about the S...uncommon interior colors such as red and blue.
