I've been thinking about weight transfer dynamics these past few days. Let me know if this is right
If front suspension setup is stiffer than rear suspension setup (By stiffer suspension I mean the addition of strut bars and x braces, lower tie bars, sway bars, etc). Wouldn't the car have a tendency to understeer because the front would always have traction and the back would have more give (it would grip more than it would slide), because of the softer suspension?
Then if you were to stiffen up the rears and keep the front suspension stock, then the car would have a tendency to oversteer because the front end would grip and the rear end would not give alot, so instead it would either grip or slide.
Then by the same argument, if front and rears were to be set up with just the right amount of stiffness to balance out the car's weight, then it would have neutral handling. Is this correct?
