Default Wheel alignment with spacers

I'm thinking putting 5mm spacers on my wheels.
Should I get the wheel alignment done before or after?

They won't really change the alignment but if you haven't had one done in a while it can't hurt.

I found a good shop that did an alignment for me this spring. It has made a world of difference. The car feels very planted and it is a true joy to drive. I have the car within oem specs now all around and I am also hopeful that the reduced toe in the rear compared to the way it was last year will improve rear tire wear. We shall see.

The guy who did the alignment seemed very competent. The cost was $75. I plan to have an alignment done every time I get new tires, which I generally purchase at the same shop. Its not very expensive, and it makes a big difference when you get it right.

Wish we had alignments for $75 around here! Its at least double that for someone competent.

You guys must be paying the "lowered car tax" premium for an alignment, less than $100CND so that would be about the $70-75USD range up here.
