Question When are you taking your S2K out of winter storage?

Bought my S2K last May, so this is my first winter in storage here in Minneapolis! for you northerners, when do you plan to take it out?

Here in WV the winter has been mild, at least for the past month. Most days reach into the 50s or 60s lately. I'm still going to leave the S in the garage until at least April fool's day though.

April/May for me.

Issue is that I need to bring it home and then my TSX sits outside.

If it snows again (it snows in May every year in IL), then I'll be slightly annoyed about having to brush snow off my TSX before work.

The goal before work is to sleep until the last possible moment and then drive to work in a stressful panic with no time left for the weak. The future is now.

Plus, my garage is like 65F most of the year. Its nice to get into a warm car.

I'll wait til mid May, most likely.

If I had the S2000 here, I'd probably drive it on a dry day when the salt is all gone (washed away by rain). Roads are currently good...but there's still salty snow melt from the piles of plowed snow. So...nah.

I've had it 12 years though. So my urgency is not the same as yours.

I'm a fellow Minneapolis S2k owner - greetings!
I pulled it from storage April 7th last year. Probably about the same time this year. Roads are really bad still from overplowing bare roads

Here in New Jersey it has been very mild. I have taken it out a couple times already and even kept the top down.
Winter storage for me is not as extreme as others, however, I just disconnect the battery and put a cover on her.

I recall from my 2 years I lived in Minneapolis, that some communities would chain some vehicle out on a frozen pond or lake and take bets when it would fall through the ice. When that happens take it out of storage.
I might add, all of the cars I had there ( I was based there for 10 years ) rusted through the body and frame. Terrible.

LOL - yup - every year there are those idiots collecting their vehicles up off some lake bed - or worst their best friend or husband!
I agree on the winters here being hard on vehicles - it's all the salt and chemical they spray and over spray. It's like if they don't use is all up (budget included) they won't get as much the following year so they are out there salting and plowing when there's no snow on the roads.

I have already taken out this week. Got three sunny days in the range of mid 40s to 60S.

Basically this, that said, I'll probably aim to take my car out around....late April?
