Default Where can i get an AP1 Engine ?

I'm about to buy an '01 AP1 and that has about 114k miles on it. And i know the engine has only so many more mile before it gives up. Maybe another 70k- 90k more. And I still plan to keep this car many many years from now because i am still in my undergrad at USC. Just doing my research and here are my Questions:

1) Where can i get an AP1 motor? Online? I am located in socal if that helps any.
2) Does it have to be a '00-01' AP1 engine vs a '02-03' AP1 engine because I know the ecu's are different.
3)What price is a decent motor going to cost me?

Thanks.

1) on here, ebay, and some online shops
2) 00-05 will work
3) price varies.. ive seen long blocks from 900-2500 depending on year and mileage. 04-05 tend to cost higher obviously

Yea but noone wants an AP1 tranny.

F22C if you are replacing the engine. It's a better engine overall and if you get a tranny with it, that's another upgrade.
